With Actulator for iPhone you don’t need any longer your spreadsheet macros to calculate actuarial variables. Calculating the life expectancy or any other actuarial variable has never been easier.
This Actuarial Calculator calculates the following variables:
npx | the probability that a person aged x will survive to the age x+n |
ex | the expected future lifetime of an individual aged x |
nEx | the actuarial present value of a benefit paid if and only if a person aged x will survive to the age x+n |
ax | the actuarial present value of a series of periodic payments for as long as a person aged x remains alive |
axn | the actuarial present value of a series of periodic payments for a period of n years or until death of a person aged x |
axy | the actuarial present value of a series of periodic payments for as long as a person aged x and a second person aged y remain alive |
axyn | the actuarial present value of a series of periodic payments for a period of n years or until death of a person aged x or a second person aged y if this would occur earlier |
axrev | the actuarial present value of a series of period payments for as long as a person aged x remains alive, and reversible to a second person aged y for as long as this second person remains alive |
Ax | the actuarial present value of 1 paid in the year of death of a person aged x |
Axn | the actuarial present value of 1 paid in the year of death of a person aged x if that person dies before the age of x+n |
You can use your mortality tables in three ways:
- manually enter your mortality table
- import a mortality table from a TXT file
- generate a mortality table by defining the parameters of a Makeham formula.
The calculator is available in multiple languages: English, French, Dutch and Russian.
